API (planned)

What the API is for

Today, you use Macreto through the web app at app.macreto.com. The planned API is meant to let you control the same workflows from your own software, for example if you’re an agency producing lots of videos for clients or want to build your own automations.

What’s planned

These features are under consideration:

Create projects: start a new video with a topic, sources, and a brand kit.
Check status: see which of the 7 steps a video is currently in.
Fetch results: download finished videos, thumbnails, and the publishing package.
Webhooks: get a notification at your own URL as soon as a step finishes or needs your approval.

Which features will ship, and in what form, hasn’t been decided yet.
