No. You upload your recordings, shoot your facecam from the script and approve the result. You describe changes in plain words, e.g. “music quieter, shorter intro”.

Yes. When you start, we ask about your tone, how you address viewers and your typical phrases. Every correction goes into the learning book. So every video sounds more like you. The voice in the video is always your real voice.

Mostly it depends on how long your footage is. You don't have to sit and wait: we email you as soon as the next step is ready. Your own work: upload recordings, shoot the facecam, review the result.

You do. You get the usage rights to the results. We only use your recordings for your videos, never to train AI models.

On servers in Germany (Hetzner). We automatically delete raw recordings after 30 days without activity. You can export or delete your data yourself at any time.

Macreto labels AI images in the video and sets the platform labels (e.g. YouTube, X) automatically when posting. We also provide the disclosure text for your description.

Yes, monthly at the end of the billing period, with one click in your account or without logging in via “Cancel contracts here”.

Macreto is an AI video studio for creators. Your screen recordings and a few minutes of facecam become a finished YouTube video with editing, slides, animations, music and subtitles. You also get three titles, three thumbnails, a description with chapters, Shorts and scheduled social posts.

For creators who explain things: software tutorials, AI topics, online courses, coaching and educational videos. In other words, anywhere screen recordings and a facecam form the core of the video.

For the main video, yes, but only briefly: you record the facecam script that Macreto writes for you. That is the only part only you can do. The voice in the video is always your real voice; there is no AI voice.

Yes, with course mode (Creator plan and up). Macreto researches your topic, plans modules and lessons and tells you what to record for each lesson. You can record all lessons in one session; Macreto automatically splits the recording at your announcements “Lesson 1, Lesson 2 …”.

Yes. In the video editor you pause the video, draw or write on the frame and comment with a timestamp. With “Adjust video” Macreto applies all comments. Anything that applies generally is saved in the learning book for future videos.

Yes. The interface is available in German and English, and you can produce videos in German or English per brand kit.

Yes. From the Creator plan you can invite team members to your studio, for example for approvals or social media planning. The number of seats is listed with each plan.

You pay securely via Stripe, for example by credit card. You will see the available payment methods at checkout. You can find your invoices at any time under “Plan & invoices” in your account.

Monthly credits apply to the current billing period. If you regularly need more, the next plan up is usually worth it; the price per video drops with every plan.

Credits are Macreto's currency. A finished video usually costs 10 credits, each additional version of the same video 6 credits and a Short 1 credit. That way you always see what a job costs before you start.

Yes. The free plan gives you one-time credits for a test video, without payment details. The free video ends with a short “Made with Macreto” end card.

No. We only use your recordings and videos to create your videos. They are not used to train AI models.

Yes, at any time in your account: the export gives you all your data as a ZIP, and deleting removes your account and files completely.

Yes. For businesses we provide a data processing agreement (DPA) and the list of our sub-processors.

Yes. The results are yours and you may use them on YouTube, in courses, for clients or in advertising. The exact rules are in our terms and the notes on AI content.
