Macreto uses artificial intelligence (AI) to turn your recordings into finished YouTube videos. Here we explain briefly and clearly what the AI generates in the process, how we label it and who is responsible for what.
What is real, what is AI?
From you – real: Your screen recordings (tutorials) and your facecam recordings. Macreto edits these recordings but does not alter your face, your voice or what you say.

How we label AI content
- AI images in the video carry a visible notice (e.g. "AI-generated").
- When auto-posting, we apply – where the platform offers this – the label for AI-generated or synthetically altered content (e.g. the "Altered or synthetic content" disclosure on YouTube).
- In doing so, we follow Art. 50 of the European Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act) and the platforms' guidelines.
Your responsibility
- AI makes mistakes. Scripts, titles and descriptions may contain incorrect facts, inaccurate instructions or inappropriate wording. Images may depict details incorrectly.
- Please check every result before you approve it – especially figures, names, prices, instructions and statements on legal, health or financial matters.
- You publish. By giving your approval, you decide what is published – even if Macreto uploads it for you via auto-posting. You are responsible for published content.
- Do not remove labels. Do not remove the AI label where it is required by law or by platform guidelines. If you upload a video yourself, please set the disclosure for synthetic content yourself.
- Label advertising. If your video contains advertising or affiliate links, you must label this – the AI does not do this automatically.
Rights to AI content
- You may use the results – including commercially, e.g. in monetised YouTube videos. Details are governed by § 9 of our Terms and Conditions.
- Under the current legal situation, purely AI-generated content is often not protected by copyright. Others may generate similar images or music, and you cannot always take action against this.
- AI music and sound effects are intended for use in your video. Please do not publish them as stand-alone music and do not register them with YouTube Content ID or similar systems – this can lead to false claims against you or others.
- If your video nevertheless receives a copyright claim (e.g. via Content ID) because of the AI music, contact us at info@hr-codelabs.de – we will support you with information on how the music was generated.
Your data and the AI
- Your recordings are not used to train AI models – neither by us nor, according to its own statements, by our AI provider Anthropic.
- We only pass short text descriptions on to the providers of images, sounds and music – never your image or your voice.
